Medium level disinfectant, that is, the instrument needs to be thermally processed, that is, it must be inserted into the mouthpiece or autoclave or later in a FF solution. It is an intermediate stage of disinfection.
Do not use on surfaces, it contains substances that can be toxic if dispersed in the air. Disinfection of instruments must be done in tubs with lids.

Aplication domain:
Disinfection and cleaning of rigid and flexible endoscopes, anesthesia accessories, breathing masks, surgical instruments, etc. [EC 0297].
Application instructions:
Do not combine with thermochemical processing based on aldehydes. It is preferable to use products without aldehydes.
In addition to the manual processing of endoscopes and instruments, Gigasept AF forte is also recommended for semi-automatic or fully automatic devices that work by cyclic processing at room temperature.
Application methods:
Make sure that the processed items are completely covered with working solution, without air gaps. When the contact time has expired, rinse abundantly with water having the quality required by the procedure to be performed with the respective device/instrument (e.g. sterile water).
In this way, interactions and unwanted effects during manual or mechanical treatments can be avoided, among other things.
Interactions:
If Gigasept AF forte solutions or concentrates come into contact with other products (especially those containing aldehydes), deposits/discoloration/loss of effectiveness may occur, so mixing different products should be avoided.
Before the first use of Gigasept AF forte, it is recommended to carefully rinse the instruments, means of application and containers with water to avoid unwanted interactions.

According to European standards, Gigasept AF forte is bactericidal, yeasticidal, mycobactericidal.

Active substances: 100 g contain: 10 g of dimethyldioctylammonium chloride, 15 g of phenoxypropanols, 15.6 g of alkyl-guanidine acetate, 9.5 g of lauryl-propyl-enediamine.

Special recommendations:
UVV requires the use of gloves when using disinfectants that are not intended for the skin.
When using the 5% active solution, accidental contact with the eyes can cause irritation of the mucous membrane. Appropriate protective measures must be taken.
Do not exceed the recommended concentrations or contact times.
